We’re driving Vision Zero forward and we need everyone on board.

Join us in Edmonton, AB from March 1-3, 2017 for the Vision Zero Advocate Conference, hosted by ATS Traffic. We’re gathering leading researchers, public safety experts, and traffic change-makers to discuss the why and the how behind Vision Zero.

The Vision Zero Advocate Conference will:

Create connections between key members of the transportation, traffic safety, and public health sectors in Canada;
Provide tangible examples of successful Vision Zero cities and campaigns;
Offer step-by-step processes to mobilizing Vision Zero initiatives such as funding, resources, and public campaigns;
Establish relationships between government bodies, businesses, and municipalities across Canada to promote national collaborative efforts; and
Deliver informative discussions and resources to the people who need it in order to make a difference in their communities.

Vision Zero is a priority road safety framework for Canada, as outlined by the Canadian Council of Motor Transportation Administrators (CCMTA) in the release of their Road Safety Strategy 2025. The strategy, released in 2016, focuses on the long term of ensuring Canada’s roads are the safest in the world, while adding a greater focus on the vision of ‘towards zero’.
